When in doubt, include the form to avoid clearance delays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to complete the S232 form (step-by-step)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The S232 form includes two sections \u2014 one for&nbsp;steel&nbsp;and one for&nbsp;aluminum&nbsp;\u2014 but the process is essentially the same for both. This information should come directly from your&nbsp;supplier\u2019s Mill Test Certificate (MTC)&nbsp;for steel, or&nbsp;Certificate of Analysis (CoA)&nbsp;for aluminum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022&nbsp;Enter the value of the metal content &#8211; Write the dollar value of the steel or aluminum used in that product \u2014 not the total product price. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022&nbsp;Enter the weight of the metal content &#8211; Record the actual weight (in kilograms) of the steel or aluminum portion only. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022&nbsp;If a product has no metal content, write \u201cN\/A\u201d &#8211; That tells Customs you reviewed it and confirmed it doesn\u2019t contain steel or aluminum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022&nbsp;Sign and date the form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the bottom, enter your company name, contact person, title, phone, and email, then sign and date the declaration.
