Having your package delivered to a FedEx location is simple with ShipNerd, making shipping more convenient for both you and your customer. Your package will be held securely for pickup, helping protect it from theft and the elements. With many FedEx locations offering extended evening and weekend hours, you can pick up your package when it works best for you\u2014without worrying about missed delivery attempts. Please note that this feature is not available for international shipments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Choosing a FedEx Ship Centre\u00ae<\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After checking out, you will then see a page showing the ten closest pickup locations to your customer. These are a mix of local stores and FedEx Ship Centres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Advantages of FedEx Ship Centre\u00ae<\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shipping to a FedEx pickup point instead of directly to your receiver’s home address offers several advantages:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(1) Keep your packages safe: Have packages held at a participating FedEx location instead of being left unattended at a residence. This helps protect against porch theft, weather exposure, and other delivery mishaps, while giving your customers peace of mind that their shipment is stored in a safe and secure location until pickup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(2) Convenient pickup on your customer’s schedule: Customers can collect their package from a participating FedEx location when it’s convenient for them, with many locations offering extended evening and weekend hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(3) Added peace of mind: Packages held at a FedEx pickup location are released only after the recipient presents a government-issued photo ID, adding an extra layer of security compared to an unattended residential delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(4) Happy customers: Holding at a pickup location gives customers a flexible delivery option that fits their schedule. They can pick up their package at a participating location when it’s convenient, making it an ideal choice for customers who may not be home during the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FedEx shipments are held at the pickup location for up to five business days. If the package is not picked up within that time, it will be returned to the shipper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If shipping to Ship Centres isn’t for you, no sweat! Disable our locator by visiting “Account Settings<\/a>” and selecting “Skip access points page.” If you change your mind, you can do the same to re-enable!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additional options and features<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to FedEx Delivery Manager\u00ae, your customers can create a free account to receive delivery notifications and manage eligible residential shipments. They can request to have an eligible package held for pickup at a participating FedEx location if it’s more convenient than home delivery. If you notice a shipment has been redirected to a FedEx Hold at Location pickup point without the recipient requesting the change, it’s likely because the recipient made the request through FedEx Delivery Manager.
